Join our Junior/Senior Development team!

After the success and expansion of our cheerleading development programme, we are very excited to be adding a third class for athletes aged 12+!

What is cheerleading?

Cheerleading is an athletic discipline which improves confidence, co-ordination and flexibility as well as encouraging teamwork. Competitive cheerleading consists of a combination of gymnastics, dance and acrobatic stunts. Teams of up to 32 members compete against other clubs according to age and ability levels. Routines last for 2 minutes 30 seconds and are set to music.

What is our development programme?

Our development squads provide a perfect introduction to the sport. Athletes will be taught all elements of cheerleading including stunts, tumbling and jumps with the aim to progress to a competition squad one day. It’s a perfect start for someone new to the sport who wants to learn new skills, make friends and have fun!

Where are we located?

The Wolverines Cheer Academy is located in Basingstoke, Hampshire and is home to a 9 panel sprung floor, dedicated tumble area plus multiple tumble tracks and drill equipment. It is easy to get to with ample parking and just a 5 minutes drive from the Station. Less than 50 minutes drive from west London; just 25 minutes from Winchester; 35 minutes from Southampton and Andover via the M3 we welcome athletes from across the region.
